First of all, can we please take a moment and look at the wonderful packaging? Lime Crime is known for their extremely adorable packaging on their lipsticks with that purple color and holographic unicorn!! Yes it's a unicorn! Adorable isn't it? For the size, I believe it's the same with any other lipstick and the shape is kinda remind me of MAC's lipsticks (I don't have any MAC's lipsticks, but I've seen it everywhere so I know what it looks like)

Here's the description and details of each shade:

1. Great Pink Planet
Pastel pink with a neon note -- think Malibu Barbie!"
This is a pretty pale pink color. Unfortunately, this doesn't look flattering on me. It kinda appear almost white on my lips. But I think this would be perfect if I mix this with a darker color lipstick. I'll play more with this baby and let you guys know ^^

2. Centrifuchsia
Bright fuchsia."
This is my most favorite out of all the three. A little TMI, I'm a HUGE fan of any bright lip color. This was the most flattering and it also give a slight stain on my lips which I find really nice.

3. Coquette
Pale, peachy-nude."
This is my second most favorite of the three. It's the perfect nude for me. Because it is so opaque, it covers the pigmented part, which is on the outer part of my lips. But same case as the Great Pink Planet, this color kinda wash me out even though not as bad as that one. I think this color is perfect if you want to do a gradient, ulzzang inspired lip makeup as you can layer this with the more bright lip colors on the center of your lips.

Swatchy-swatchy time~!

I swatched them on my bare lips and bare face.. so, I apologize for that redness around my face.

As you can see, these lipsticks are very creamy and opaque. And also, you can see that my lips are pretty pigmented especially on the outer part. I have a "natural" lip liner and it kind of bothers me because there's no lipstick that can cover it very well. But with Coquette you can see that the pigmented part is covered! You literally only need 1 or 2 swipe to achieve an opaque color. These lipsticks is quite moisturizing. I didn't apply any lip balm when I swatched them and it feels very comfortable. The finish of these is creamy and gives a slight sheen.

For the staying power, these lipsticks last quite a long time. I've wear the Centrifuchsia and it  last through drinking and eating quite well. Oh I almost forgot! These lipsticks do have a scent. It's a sweet scent almost like a vanilla which I love.

What I LOVE:
  • The packaging
  • Opaque color
  • Vegan / cruelty-free
  • Very creamy and quite moisturizing
  • The darker color will give you a slight stain

What I HATE:
  • Quite expensive and hard to get in here
  • If you have super dry lips, the lighter color will accentuate the dryness of the lips
  • I dunno why but I have to be very careful when I apply on my lips. When I swipe it on my lips, the lipstick feels like they're broken or loose from its tube.

Price: $18, you can buy it from Lime Crime website or on online shops.

Repurchase? Maybe.. If I have enough money, I'll probably buy other shades to try :)

Overall, I'm kind of enjoy these lipsticks. Well, not to mention I got this for free but I do really enjoy and loving these lipsticks. Please let me know what do you think about Lime Crime products! :)

Once again, thank you dear kak Dela
